Based in Johannesburg South Africa, "The Kosher Wildlife Experience" was started some 12 years ago by Rabbi Baruch Goldstuck. Rabbi Goldstuck lectured for Ohr Somayach Johannesburg in their various institutions for many years and has taught in many Jewish shcools in Johannesburg.

 

Baruch has a team of young and enthusiastic members who help run the tours and supervise the kashrut which is of the highest standard, all being Glatt kosher. The tours themselves are conducted and guided by professional certified tour companies and tour guides. The tours have been running every year and in the year 2002 we had some 6 tours.

Rabbi Goldstuck or just Baruch as he prefers to be known, has a real passion for the bush.
He takes his family on Safari at least once a year. In fact, the idea of starting such a company came to him one evening under the African sky, at the camp fire, whilst away on Safari with his family and a couple of his students.

As a child, I was privileged to experience the wonders of Kruger Park, regularly. These visits instilled in me a deep love for the pristine African bushveld, the roar of the lion at dusk and the distinct call of the fisheagle. And so as an adult I just couldn't stay away.

 

On one such occasion I took a group of my students with me on safari. After dark while sitting around a camp-fire reminiscing the day’s events, one of them suggested that I provide kosher safaris and kosher tours for overseas guests, so they too could experience the magic of the wild. And so The Kosher Wildlife Experience was born.

 

We provide high-end, customised kosher safaris and kosher tours, blending luxury accommodation and kosher cuisine with a genuine, up-close wildlife adventure.

 

The African bush vicious and alluring, brutal and magnificent, offers travellers natural beauty and wildlife rarely seen elsewhere in the world.
