It is the largest sheet of falling water in the world, as it stands over two kilometer's wide and 108 metes tall, making it twice as high and twice as wide as those of Niagara. Chobe Game Reserve, is only an hour by road from Victoria Falls is on Botswana's northern border and lies on the banks of the Chobe River just above its confluence with the Zambezi.

Chobe is home to the world's largest elephant population and is also famous for its large buffalo herds and abundace of other wildlife. It has vegetation that ranges from the dense reverie and grass floodplains of the north to teak forests and mopani woodlands with scattered pans and water holes in the south.
 
A river boat cruise on the Chobe River will give you a totally different game viewing experience to the ones you have had until now. Here you will witness some of Africa's largest elephant and buffalo herds as they come to water with their young to drink and cross the river in front of you. You will also see crocodiles and hippo as well as other game and bird life.
